Emerging Afrobeats and street-hop artist TEEgod is turning personal struggles into motivation on his latest single, ‘Justice for My Life’, released on October 30. Marking his third single of 2026, the track looks beyond the idea of success to consider the sacrifices, setbacks, and determination that often shape the journey towards it.

Built around themes of perseverance and self-belief, ‘Justice for My Life’ speaks to anyone working towards a goal despite being overlooked or doubted. TEEgod uses the record to encourage listeners to remain committed to their ambitions, even when recognition seems out of reach. The lyric, “They doubted me, I had to do something / I became so good they can’t ignore,” captures that mindset, turning criticism into a reason to keep pushing forward.

Recorded in Lagos, Nigeria, and produced by Originalbeats, the single brings TEEgod’s motivational approach into focus. An official visualiser is also expected to accompany the release, giving listeners another way to connect with the track.

The message feels closely connected to TEEgod’s own experience. The Nigerian artist has built his musical identity around gritty storytelling and melodic delivery, drawing from both Afrobeats and rap. Influenced by Lil Wayne, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Drake, he brings together elements of those sounds while keeping his writing grounded in his upbringing and personal experiences.

His journey has not been without interruptions. TEEgod stepped away from music during college because of financial difficulties, but returned to pursue his craft full-time in 2025. That decision became an important part of the identity he now carries as the “Big Believer”. Even his stage name, derived from the expression “Thank God”, reflects the faith and optimism that underpin his outlook.

He made that philosophy central to his 2025 EP, Big Believer, which also brought an unexpected career highlight. Following the project’s release, Nollywood actor and content creator Charles Okocha, widely known as Mr Phenomenal, contacted the artist. The two later collaborated on a video for the EP track ‘Gbogbonise’, giving TEEgod a memorable moment of recognition as he continued developing his career.

In 2026, he continued expanding his catalogue with ‘Mma Mma’, featuring Zyno TopBoy and distributed by Azuri Music, and ‘Forever’. Both releases offered a more emotional and reflective perspective, showing different sides of an artist whose music moves between street-inspired energy and personal expression.

With an audience growing across southeastern Nigeria and on streaming platforms, TEEgod is steadily building his presence while staying connected to the experiences that inform his music. ‘Justice for My Life’ continues that story, placing perseverance at the centre of his latest release and reminding listeners that progress often demands patience, belief and consistent effort.

As his third single of the year, the track adds another chapter to TEEgod’s journey as the Big Believer, with his ambitions firmly set on what comes next.
