Grammy-nominated Nigerian Afrofusion powerhouse BNXN returns with his latest single, “Online,” released via EMPIRE as the final preview of his highly anticipated six-track EP, Still In Charge, arriving October 1.
Built around BNXN’s decision to step away from the constant demands of social media, Online transforms his period of digital silence into a statement of focus, growth, and quiet ambition. Rather than documenting every move, the singer uses the record to highlight what has been happening behind the scenes as he continues expanding his reach across international markets.
Anchored by an infectious Afrobeats groove, Online combines BNXN’s signature melodic delivery with sharp lyricism and playful flexes. The new EP also follows BNXN’s acclaimed collaborative project with producer Sarz, The Game Needs Us. The project reached No. 1 on Apple Music Nigeria and has generated more than 200 million streams, led by the global hit “Back Outside,” which has surpassed 130 million streams and earned an AFRIMMA award.
