Afrobeats superstar Davido has unveiled the official music video for “Already Falling,” a standout track from his latest album, ORIADÉ. The release brings a romantic visual dimension to the song, featuring a special appearance from his wife, Chioma, as the couple celebrates their love story.

Filmed at Château de Chanteloup, Martell’s historic estate in Cognac, France, the video captures Davido in a series of elegant settings as he serenades Chioma. One particularly memorable scene features a royal-style portrait of the couple, adding to the video’s romantic atmosphere.

Since its release on July 31 through RCA Records/Sony Music UK, “Already Falling” has continued to gain traction across digital platforms, inspiring more than 72,000 TikTok creations and generating 88 million views on the platform.

Musically, the track sees Davido reimagine Elvis Presley’s timeless classic “Can’t Help Falling in Love” through an Afrobeats perspective. The singer has described it as a follow-up to his 2018 hit “Assurance,” another love-inspired record dedicated to Chioma, who also featured in its music video as his then-girlfriend.

Nearly eight years after “Assurance,” “Already Falling” brings that romantic narrative full circle, reflecting the couple’s journey from young lovers to husband and wife.

The video also arrives alongside the launch of the Martell Afrobeats VS and XO Limited Editions, created in collaboration with Davido and Ghanaian visual artist Prince Gyasi. The partnership builds on Martell’s five-year relationship with the singer, bringing together music, visual art and design in celebration of Afrobeats and its growing global influence.

The release adds another visual chapter to ORIADÉ, Davido’s sixth studio album, extending the project’s artistic direction beyond its music. It also forms part of the singer’s celebration of 15 years in the music industry.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Davido is set to headline a three-night residency at The National Theatre in Lagos from December 17 to 19. The performances will mark the first time he brings ORIADÉ to the Lagos stage, offering fans an opportunity to experience the album live in the city that has played a central role in his musical journey.

With “Already Falling,” Davido delivers more than a music video, offering fans a personal glimpse into his relationship with Chioma while adding another memorable moment to his 15-year career.
