Nigerian Afro-dancehall artiste and House Records Group (HRG) CEO Xucceedo has released his latest single, “Arise,” a vibrant Afrobeat record celebrating the progress, culture, and potential of Akwa Ibom State.

Released on August 14, 2026, the track was produced in collaboration with Moskeyz and uses music as a platform to spotlight the developments and opportunities emerging across the state.

“Arise” was conceived as a strategic communications project, with Xucceedo using songwriting and storytelling to highlight aspects of Akwa Ibom’s development story.

Through the lyrics, the artiste draws attention to government projects, local businesses, tourist attractions, and other development initiatives across the state. The song also highlights investment and tourism opportunities, presenting Akwa Ibom as a region with growing potential.

But “Arise” goes beyond development and economic progress. The song also pays tribute to the Ibibio people and their cultural heritage, placing their identity alongside the achievements and transformation taking place across the state.

With its message of progress, unity and sustainable development, the record is positioned as an anthem that speaks to people in Akwa Ibom while extending its message to audiences across Nigeria and within the diaspora.

For Xucceedo, the release adds another dimension to a musical journey that has spanned more than 16 years. Born and raised in Dodan Barracks, Obalende/Ikoyi, Lagos, Success Albert, professionally known as Xucceedo, is the CEO of House Records Group and has built a catalogue covering albums, EPs and singles throughout his career.

His projects include the Built On Self Success (B.O.S.S) album released in 2016, The Light in 2019, The Journey EP in 2021, Son Of Grace EP in 2024, and Big Ceedo Vibez (Big C.V) EP in 2026. “Arise” now adds another chapter to that catalogue, reflecting Xucceedo’s continued interest in using his music to tell stories and connect with his growing audience.

His sound and artistic development have been influenced by artistes including Popcaan, Patoranking, 2Face, Burna Boy and Wizkid. With “Arise,” Xucceedo turns his attention to Akwa Ibom, creating a record that celebrates its people and culture while highlighting the state’s development, tourism and potential.
