South African dance music visionary MÖRDA has released Asante IV, the fourth instalment in his acclaimed Asante album series, delivering a 19-track project that brings together Afro-house, electronic music, soulful melodies and richly layered African rhythms.
Released on July 31, 2026, Asante IV continues the musical journey established by the previous chapters of the series while showcasing MÖRDA’s evolution as a producer, composer and collaborator. The album moves effortlessly between energetic dancefloor records and more introspective moments, creating a project designed to work across clubs, festival stages and personal listening spaces.
The latest instalment features an extensive lineup of collaborators, including DJ Zinhle, Brenden Praise, Chronical Deep, Mo-T, !Sooks, Kitchen Mess, LaTique, Meguel and Suffocate, alongside several of MÖRDA’s longtime creative partners.
Across its 19 tracks, Asante IV is defined by intricate percussion, atmospheric production, uplifting grooves and expressive vocal performances. While the collaborations bring different perspectives to the project, MÖRDA maintains a cohesive sonic identity throughout, allowing the album to feel like one continuous musical journey.
