A few months after their summer 2025 smash ‘See What We’ve Done’, GRAMMY Award-winning pioneer Mr Eazi and international afropop star King Promise reunite for their infectious new single, ‘That Way.’

Serving as the second single from their forthcoming joint album See What We’ve Done, That Way cleverly interpolates the Backstreet Boys 1999 classic I Want It That Way, flipping millennial pop nostalgia into a contemporary afrobeats anthem. The result is a smooth, modern love song that uses familiarity as a bridge to connection, while showcasing the effortless chemistry between Eazi and King Promise — a partnership rooted in genuine friendship and musical kinship.

The track is produced by GRAMMY-winning hitmakers GuiltyBeatz and JAE5, whose warm, restrained production allows King Promise’s silky melodies to glide seamlessly alongside Mr Eazi’s laid-back vocal delivery. At its heart, That Way is an unpretentious devotion anthem, capturing the transformative clarity of falling for someone who shifts your entire worldview.

Accompanied by an intimate London-shot visual directed by Charlie Rees and produced by Oculens, the single further amplifies its nostalgic-yet-modern aesthetic.

That Way builds on a proven catalogue of fan-favourite collaborations between the duo, including ‘Dabebi,’ ‘Call Waiting,’ ‘Baby I’m Jealous,’ and ‘Oh Yeah.’ Their joint album channels years of shared creative language into a cohesive body of work centred on chemistry, growth, reflection and emotional richness — exploring how love matures, friendships evolve, and joy deepens over time.
