Global Afrobeats superstar Davido has released his latest single, “Gimme Dat Ting,” featuring Houston-born, Nigerian-rising artist NO11, offering fans another exciting preview of his highly anticipated sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, due for release on July 31.

Blending the infectious grooves of Afrobeats with the pulsating rhythms of Amapiano, “Gimme Dat Ting” is a high-energy anthem built for dance floors, festivals, and summer playlists. The track captures Davido’s signature confidence, with lyrics celebrating ambition, success, and enjoying the rewards of hard work, while NO11 complements the record with his vibrant delivery and undeniable chemistry.

Accompanying the release is a visually striking music video directed by Maikell. The visual follows Davido and NO11 through scenes of luxury, nightlife, sleek sports cars, manicured golf courses, and energetic club settings, perfectly matching the song’s infectious rhythm and celebratory spirit.

Speaking about the record, Davido explained that the song reflects the importance of appreciating life’s blessings.

“Gimme Dat Ting is about seeing your hard work pay off and not being afraid to enjoy the finer things in life. Whether it’s fast cars, traveling the world, or being surrounded by good energy, it’s important to celebrate everything you’ve worked for and thank God for these blessings. We only get one life, so enjoy it.”

The single serves as the final release before the arrival of ORIADÉ, following the project’s first single, “I Know Who I Be,” featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_CEEJAY. The forthcoming 13-track album promises an impressive lineup of collaborations, including Black Sherif, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, Fola, Llona, JAZZWRLD, GL_CEEJAY, and NO11.

The release continues another landmark year for Davido. The Afrobeats icon recently completed his 42-date 5IVE ALIVE Tour, the largest African concert tour of 2025, spanning 12 countries across four continents. He also made his historic Coachella debut and featured on the official 2026 FIFA World Cup album with “No Place Like Home” alongside Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado, further cementing his influence on the global music stage.

With “Gimme Dat Ting,” Davido builds even greater anticipation for ORIADÉ, showcasing the vibrant sound, international collaborations, and infectious energy that continue to define his remarkable career and reinforce his position as one of Afrobeats’ most influential global ambassadors.
