Global Afrobeats superstar Rema has dropped the explosive visuals for his latest single “Kelebu”—a video charged with adrenaline, cultural energy, and unstoppable dance-floor spirit. Shot in Lagos and directed by Perliks alongside Nouvelle Production House, the visual captures the raw vibrancy of Rema’s artistry, weaving fast-cut edits with electrifying movement that mirrors the chaos and joy of living in the moment.
As part of the build-up, Rema launched a $10K global dance challenge, sparking a worldwide movement that lit up timelines with over 135 million views. The video proudly features the POP Boys, whose winning choreography became the heartbeat of the challenge, showcasing the carefree, fearless energy that defines the track. “Kelebu” isn’t just a song or a visual—it’s a cultural rallying cry to leave the VIP and return to the dance floor, reminding fans that movement belongs to everyone, everywhere.
In his own words, Rema reflects: “Growing up, I didn’t have a phone to create my music taste… At school parties, we danced to Caribbean and Francophone bounces, not caring about the language, only the rhythm. Making music now, I’m reliving those moments by expressing it with my art.”
The release follows a monumental year for Rema: the HEIS World Tour, which saw him sell out Madison Square Garden, headline The O2 for the second time in four years, and pack Paris’s Accor Arena, alongside a fiery runway debut for 424 at Paris Fashion Week. With “Kelebu”, Rema is closing one chapter of cultural dominance while signaling his bold pivot to the next.
Kelebu’ isn’t just a viral moment, it’s a statement that the rave is alive, loud, and unstoppable
