After months of warning that the machine is coming—including a mixtape that foreshadowed its arrival—Abuja rapper ODUMODUBLVCK officially kicks off his much-awaited ‘Industry Machine’ era with the release of his blockbuster new single “Pay Me”, featuring Nigerian rap star Zlatan and British heavyweight Stormzy.
Produced by Scarr, “Pay Me” is powered by ODUMODUBLVCK’s signature Okporoko sound, hinging on a silky, slick beat propelled by head-nodding drums and airy keyboard loops. Across the track, ODUMODUBLVCK delivers an effortless and engaging flow, balanced with the chantable chorus “Run me my money .. run me run me run me oo ..Pay me my money,” before handing over to Stormzy and Zlatan for standout verses.

The track opens with a striking feature of “Make We Jolly,” an old Nollywood soundtrack by Patience Ozokwor in collaboration with Tonto Dike and Charles Awuram, offering listeners a nostalgic glimpse into the past while highlighting ODUMODUBLVCK’s deep appreciation for pop culture references.
Nearly two years after his celebrated project Eziokwu, ODUMODUBLVCK is gearing up for another transformative release with Industry Machine, and “Pay Me” serves as the bold opening salvo. The single also reunites ODUMODUBLVCK and Zlatan following their earlier collaboration on his breakout hit “Picanto.”
The video for “Pay Me” leans into the track’s message with humor, depicting the trio attempting a chaotic ATM jacking. “Pay Me” follows the surprise March release of The Machine Is Coming, a 16-song mixtape that featured bangers like “LEGOLAS,” the Victony-assisted “PITY THIS BOY,” and “WAGE WAR.”
