The song was composed and produced by Sjebhax16, arranged by Fox Musiq, with Sk-1 delivering the lead vocals and Sjebhax16 supporting with backing vocals. While financial constraints delayed its official release, the emotion and urgency of the record remain untouched—preserved exactly as it was created in the studio.
Translated as “leave her or him alone,” Myekeleni carries a message that formed naturally during the writing process. As Sk-1 developed the lyrics, the session shifted toward a deeper conversation about creative freedom. Born Jabulane Sonti on May 27, 1989, in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, Sjebhax16 discovered his passion for music in the early 2000s, playing at local parties as far back as 2004. Alongside his musical path, he built a steady professional career in healthcare services, starting as an intern at Tambo Memorial Hospital in 2008, later working at Natalspruit Hospital, where he rose from laundry worker to supervisor. In 2020, he transitioned into an HR Clerk role before being appointed Laundry Manager at Tambo Memorial Hospital.
