Afro House artist Cruise Lord has officially released his debut EP, Song Of Solomon, which arrived on 11th January 2026, marking a confident and intentional introduction to his sound. Rooted in Afro House and guided by purpose rather than trends, the project presents a body of work that is sensual, spiritually charged, and deeply self-assured.

Drawing inspiration from King Solomon and the devotion expressed in the biblical Song of Solomon, the EP celebrates the beauty, presence, and power of African women. The songwriting process flowed instinctively, with vocals arriving naturally whenever Cruise Lord stepped behind the mic. While the ideas came with ease, the project itself was carefully refined over the course of a year, as tracks were shaped, replaced, and perfected until the vision felt complete.

At its core, Song of Solomon explores love expressed with clarity and composure. The EP follows the emotional arc of a man pursuing his love interest with intention — expressing desire without desperation and moving with quiet confidence. That assured energy is reflected in the project’s steady, immersive rhythms and controlled delivery.

The recording process highlights Cruise Lord’s creative independence. Most of the EP was engineered by the artist himself, with the exception of “Falling,” which was engineered by producer Big Tunez. All recordings took place at his home studio, Cruise Side, a space that represents his self-sufficiency and signals the foundation of a growing creative hub.

Blending Afro House, Afrobeats, hip-hop, and dance, Cruise Lord crafts smooth, late-night records designed for dim lights and confident movement. With relaxed delivery, sharp lyricism, and grooves that command attention without forcing it, Song Of Solomon positions him as an artist moving with intention and clarity, fully in control of his sound and direction.
