At just eight years old, Amariah Poni Lodiong is proving that age is no barrier when it comes to impact. Her new single and music video, Africa, is more than just a song — it’s a love letter to the continent that shaped her identity. With Afrobeats rhythms, powerful lyrics, and visuals that capture the spirit of resilience and unity, Africa feels like the kind of anthem you can dance to while also reflecting on its deeper message.

What makes this release so special is how personal it is for Amariah. With roots in the KuKu Tribe of South Sudan and ties to Mississippi, she carries both cultural pride and spiritual grounding into her artistry. The song, written by Amariah herself, draws on Bible scriptures to deliver lyrics that radiate hope, love, and faith. Her brothers, Abijah and AJ, join in to add harmonies, making Africa not just a musical statement but also a family-driven project brimming with authenticity.

And then there’s her story. Born on a military base in Alaska to parents who met while serving with Save the Children in South Sudan, Amariah’s life has been steeped in compassion, creativity, and service. Whether winning pageants like Miss Noble North Carolina, dazzling at Kids Got Talent 2025 in Atlanta, or volunteering in African refugee camps, she’s been building a journey rooted in both talent and heart. In fact, while working in Africa, she spent three months volunteering in orphanages and camps — a commitment that shows her music is inseparable from her mission to give back. Her dream? To fund a school and orphanage in Africa through her music and Amazing Amariah’s Mission initiative.

Africa follows in the footsteps of her award-winning visuals Impossible and Rejoice, which picked up honors at the London Music Awards, Paris Film Award, and New York Movie Awards in 2024. But this new single feels like a milestone — a bold, radiant statement from a young artist who is already balancing music, acting, modeling, pageantry, and ministry with remarkable grace.

Watching Africa, it’s clear that Amariah is more than a rising star; she’s a force of light and inspiration
